    For Roy Webber and Paul Peppiate, a Monday morning call landed them one of the biggest projects they have worked on – FIFA 2018.Flashback to the pitch: While the bids for sports marketing agencies were up for grabs for the Russia edition of the FIFA World Cup, the federation shortlisted seven companies and Leeds-based Works made it to the top two. Unfortunately, they didn’t make the final cut. Webber, founder of the 29-year-old agency, and Peppiate, the COO, moved on with their lives.

    Works enters India through partnership with The Social Street

    Works, a UK-based creative, design and brand agency has partnered with The Social Street for its foray into India. Works works with clients and partners in the sports and entertainment industries.

    The 29-year old agency has offices in Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai and Beijing. The agency was recently commissioned by FIFA to roll out the official look for this year’s FIFA World Cup. Prior to this, the agency has worked on FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010, FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019 and eight UEFA Champions League Finals.

    Social Street partners with UK-based Works Limited to foster creativity in sports in India

    Works is a creative, design and brand agency which has worked on a variety of projects with sports federations and organisations to create work for over 100 major sports competitions around the world.     Newer advertising agencies such as Social Street, Medulla and Dentsu Webchutney took advantage of industry leaders giving Goafest a miss this year and went home with an impressive haul of metals. The 13th edition of the three-day advertising and marketing festival ended on Saturday. This was also the 50th year of the Abby Awards. Social Street, started by adman Pratap Bose three years ago, won the coveted Creative Agency of the Year with a metals tally — industry parlance for awards — of 17 (three gold, seven silver and seven bronze), and a score of 94.

The agency has bagged many metals across virtually all categories at the Abby Awards 2018.
